Foodnik Friday 8/31 - Angels Trumpet Ale House @ Noon

Downtown, finally!

I usually try to stick to less mainstream stuff for Foodnik Fridays (just in keeping with the spirit of the event), but it's not a hard and fast rule. A friend had a pretty good experience here the other day, so I thought it might be fun to check it out. Looks like beer and stuff that goes well with beer. Who's in?

This place is within walking distance of my office, so I would be a fool not to join in.

Would it be possible to bump the start time to noon or 12:15?

That works with me, I just cant make it until 12:30 so I'll be a bit late but if everyone wants to start early I'll just meet you there.

Ah. Well, we should just go with the original plan then. I just won't be able to linger and enjoy everyone's company for as long as I normally do at these things.

So we won't be making (noon is always to late for us), but I did peek at the menu.

Spam sliders (awesome!)... with feta and cranberry slaw (WTF). This hurts my heart a little bit.
