I love Wirecutter sometimes because their nerdiness is just second to none. It's no surprise (to me) who the winner of their Canned Tomatoes testing was, I just really like their approach to the whole thing... Read it here:

Interesting. I had no idea Bianco DiNapoli tomatoes were nationally distributed now. I'm surprised Muir Glen rated so low. I love their fire roasted petite diced tomatoes, but I've never tried their whole ones.

I like all the Top Picks of BD, San Merican, Pastene, and Mutti. Pastene has been my choice for 45+ years with the occasional Cento when I run out of Pastene. A couple of 12 packs usually last me between their $35 flat rate shipping deals.
