Re: Nitro without Cartridges? (Kickstarter)
Swiping a photo to get a visual: nitro.png Kinda makes me wish I would actually use it. $400 buys a lot of nitro coffee. I am a little... skeptical of the claims. Or the lack of specificity in the claims. It doesn't say it extracts nitrogen from the atmosphere. It says it "[utilizes] the nitrog...

Re: Buck & Rider - Seafood in the desert
Bob Lynn definitely gets some nice product. When I've had issues there, it certainly wasn't with the quality of the seafood. The OG B&R is very close to our house, so I drop in from time to time, usually to hit the raw bar, though I do that less often since they narrowed the happy hour(s). I use...

Re: Tipsy Chicken
I believe this is in the old Po Chicken space which was the go to KFC prior to Bonchon coming to town. Correct. I feel like there are enough places like Tipsy Chicken now that I would've preferred Po Chicken stick around, with those massive whole chicken and bowls of congee. Sadly, not my decision ...

Hunting the Finest Stew Meat of All at Costco
Short Ribs.jpg Behold... Costco's "Beef Chuck Short Ribs," the greatest stew meat of all, appears to have returned to Costco. A brief history: Once upon a time, lo a dozen years ago, I fell upon a package of this magical cut of beef at Costco and took it home. I used it to make some famil...

Re: Rough Rider - Saucy American in DTPHX
They managed to create a vegan entree that slides right into the middle of a hefty, rich, meat-centric menu and you'd barely notice if you weren't paying attention.immersivemachine wrote: ↑Sat Sep 09, 2023 9:28 pm I wanna go in just for that cabbage, tbh. Looks awesome.

Saima's Grill - Pakistani BBQ - Friday, 9/15 @ NEW TIME Noon
saimas_bbq.jpg I fell into this Pakistani BBQ inside an Indian market (Turmeric Cash and Carry) earlier in the year, and I've been meaning to get back. Had some extremely good stuff. It was originally supposed to be a franchise of Bundoo Khan, a big name Pakistani grill, but something happened and ...

Re: Vacuum sealer recs?
I've been very curious about the chamber vacuum sealers Dude, I would kill for one of those. It's an issue of counter space for me. I know Anova makes a consumer chamber sealer as well, but I haven't really researched them so I don't know if theirs is up to snuff. Yeah, I don't mean to lend the wro...

Re: Vacuum sealer recs?
I've gone through four or five. The FoodSavers do the job. There are 80 bajillion different models, and they basically offer every combination and permutation of feature and form factor under the sun and it's just a question of which you want. But they also vary quite a bit in terms of reliability a...

Source - Urciuoli Doin' His Thing in Gilbert
The good news is that if you're in the East Valley and Pa'La Prime in its early days is the food of your dreams, you can get it in Gilbert. The bad news is that if you live anywhere else, you have to trek out to Gilbert to get your dose of Claudio Urciuoli. So I finally made the trek, and if you kno...
